Paleontological Fieldwork
I began digging with the Museum of the Rockies the summer after I graduated high school. I enjoyed it so much, I've been digging with them ever since. In the past 10 years, I have spent a total of 20 months in the field. I've been a crew chief for 8 years now, at our Judith River and Hell Creek field stations, and I've been organizing the volunteers for all of our crews for the past 5 years. I was also fortunate enough to join Jack on a trip to Mongolia in 2007, and I hope to travel to other international field sites in the future.
Our field crews are full for 2010, but if you'd like to join our fieldwork for summer 2011, please visit the MOR website for information and the application. For additional pictures and descriptions of past field seasons, I recommend Denver Fowler: Fieldwork
